Role Summary
As part of the Secure Network Platform team, the selected candidate will be primarily responsible for administering La Caisse’s on-premises and cloud infrastructures. In collaboration with various Digital Technology teams, this person will administer, automate, industrialize, support, and evolve the cloud platform and its services.
They will also act as a reference person in projects and initiatives, contributing to the success of La Caisse’s cloud transformation within a dynamic and agile team.
What You Will Do
- Administer, automate, industrialize, configure, and manage on-premises and cloud infrastructures
- Develop new services to ensure the continuous evolution and stability of the cloud platform
- Promote team autonomy through industrialization, support, and automation (DevSecOps)
- Understand and manage relationships between environments under your responsibility
- Act as a subject matter expert: proactively monitor environments, analyze service reports, track system health, and apply necessary fixes
- Analyze and diagnose operational issues related to the cloud platform
- Monitor the introduction of new services, upgrades, and features; evaluate, test, qualify, and manage their deployment
- Document and maintain processes and technical documentation
- Contribute to the success of La Caisse’s cloud transformation and continuously develop required skills
- Ensure compliance with security guidelines and alignment with responsible teams
- Maintain and support existing telecommunications infrastructures
- Train and mentor team members on network security best practices
- Provide 24/7 on-call support (rotation) for incidents affecting the cloud platform

What You Bring
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in system development or administration
- Experience deploying and managing Palo Alto firewalls in AWS and Azure cloud environments
- Experience with Palo Alto Prisma Access
- Experience with cloud security management using Strata Cloud Management (an asset)
- Experience managing and operating Cisco networking equipment (wired and wireless)
- Knowledge of automation and CI/CD deployment tools (Azure DevOps, Python, OpenTofu (Terraform), AWS CloudFormation, Bicep, etc.)
- Ability to design, deploy, and manage network security solutions using Palo Alto Prisma Access
- Experience analyzing and converting various firewall rules into Palo Alto rules
- Strong knowledge of network security concepts and protocols
- Experience writing operational documentation
- Experience working in Agile and DevSecOps environments (an asset)
- Palo Alto certifications (PCCSE, PCNSA, PCNSE) (an asset)
- Proficiency in French, both spoken and written
