This article delves into the story of Davood Salimi, an Iranian immigrant with auditory impairments. Salimi, who holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering, describes the many professional challenges he experienced due to his disability. Despite his impressive qualifications, many employers refused to consider his candidacy because of his health issues. Luckily, thanks to the assistance of AIM CROIT’s employment counsellors, Salimi is closer to achieving his professional than ever before.
